Welcome to Waggy Wagtails

Waggy Wagtails was born out of my passion for animals after I faced redundancy from my long career in the education and care profession. My love for animals began early, with my first weekend job at The Wood Green Animal Shelter at just 14, where I dedicated four years to caring for animals in need of love and new homes.

 

Over the years, I've rescued many animals, from a mouse with no ears, to a mistreated black Labrador cross. Now, I share my life with my wonderful Weimaraner, Stanley, whose joyful nature inspired the name Waggy Wagtails, representing his happy, wagging tail that everyone adores! At Waggy Wagtails, I offer customised dog walking services tailored for every dog, whether they need an energetic adventure in the countryside or a gentle stroll for older or rehabilitating dogs. 

 

All dogs will wear a tracker for safety and peace of mind. I do not offer group dog walks as I prefer to provide a service for single dogs or dogs from the same family to ensure that I can focus on their safety and particular needs for their dog walk. 

 

Additionally, I provide a pet care service for a range of pets, so that whilst you are away for the day, weekend or longer, I can provide the essential care they need which includes feeding, ensuring any medication is maintained and companionship during the day. This service allows your beloved pet to stay at home, in their familiar surroundings to help to ensure safety and security for them whilst you are away and the peace of mind for you that they are happy and being well looked after.
